To instruct TelePort/Fax to dial a fax number EVEN IF it doesn't hear a dial tone, click this box.
To instruct TelePort/Fax to dial a fax number ONLY IF the phone handset is down (on hook), click this box.
To instruct TelePort/Fax to dial a fax number EVEN IF the phone handset is up (off hook), click this box.
To instruct TelePort/Fax to use Touch Tone dialing when it dials a fax number, click this box.
To instruct TelePort/Fax to use Pulse (Rotary) dialing when it dials a fax number, click this box.
Type the area code where your TelePort is located. This area code will be compared to that of each fax number dialed to determine whether a long distance or local call is required. Include area codes in your address book entries to use this feature.
Type the long distance code you must dial to place a long distance call. In the US and Canada, the most common long distance code is “1”. Do not include your long distance code in the fax numbers you enter in your address book.
If you must dial a special prefix to get an outside line, type it here. Type a “,” (comma) after the prefix if you need to wait for a dial tone after dialing the prefix. Do not include your dial prefix in the fax numbers you enter in your address book.
